Terms & Conditions

Liability Waivers​

We require all first-time floaters and Infrared Sauna users to sign the liability waiver.

Please confirm that:

  • I will never use the floatation tank or infrared sauna under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  • I do not suffer from epilepsy

  • I do not suffer from schizophrenia

  • I am not currently suffering from any form of ear infection (if you have a history of ear infections please ensure you use the earplugs provided)

  • I am over the age of 16 (children under the age of 16 are not permitted to float due to health and safety requirements)

  • I have no fresh tattoos (less than 2 weeks)

  • I do not have recently dyed hair (this is applicable if your hair is not yet running clear in the shower.

  • Please note there will be a cleaning fee of £750 if any bodily fluids are excreted in the pods.

  • You can handle temperature extremes

  • I do not suffer from haemophilia  

  • You don't have a fever

  • I am not insensitive to heat


You will not be able to Float in the first trimester

You will not be able to use the infrared sauna during pregnancy 


Health Conditions

  • Please inform Floating Point of all health conditions. If you have a heart condition or wear a pacemaker, asthma, allergies (particularly to salt, chlorine or magnesium), or very low blood pressure – we recommend that you seek approval from a medical practitioner before floating.

Disability Policy

  • Before booking a float, please email and ask for someone to call you to discuss your visit as we’ll have to make a decision on a case by case basis. This is so that we can talk through the process together with you and ensure it is completely safe for you to float either with or without a carer present, and so that we can make sure our team is prepared to support your visit. 

  • At Floating Point we are very keen to make sure everyone can float, however, safety is very important too. If you have a physical disability please first consult with your doctor. If your doctor gives you the ok then please call up the centre and speak to one of our team leaders or managers. They will explain to you exactly what precautions and measures we need to take to ensure safe and happy floating. We can’t guarantee that every person who comes to Floating Point will be allowed to float, and we must speak to you beforehand to understand any physical disabilities that you are managing so that we can put the correct safety measures in place.

  • At Floating Point we have a fully accessible WC and float room, our infrared sauna room is also accessible although you will need to be able to get into the sauna with minimal assitance. 


  • Getting in and out of the float pod is similar to getting in and out of a bath, so you must be able to do this unaided, or be accompanied by someone who is qualified and insured to help you with this. We are not trained in aiding people in and out of the float pod I am afraid.

  • I confirm that if any of the situations above change, then I will inform Floating Point prior to floating.

Online Booking

  • If you are a non-member and don't have a voucher, you will be asked for a £20 DEPOSIT to secure your float session. Remainder to pay on the day. 


  • If you have a voucher you will need to either provide your voucher number/state if you have a postcard voucher/state that you have a float package. Failure to provide this information within 24hrs will result in your booking being CANCELLED.

  • If you are a member please provide your membership number.


  • Booking cancellations should be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to your session, there is a potential that you may lose your deposit if you cancel in less than 24 hours.


  • If you book an appointment and do not attend the session without contacting the centre beforehand, then you will, unfortunately, lose your deposit/voucher float/member float/infrared sauna session.


  • If you are a new customer and you arrive more than 10 minutes late, it may not be possible to float or use the infrared sauna. This is to ensure that the float or infrared sauna sessions following your session aren't impacted.

  • If you are an existing customer and you arrive more than 15 minutes late, it may also not be possible to float or use the infrared sauna

  • If you are late there is a strong possibility that you may not get the room you originally booked or not be able to use the sauna.

  • Your Infrared Sauna or Float session begins from the time of the booking, late arrival may mean your session time may be reduced accordingly

Post Treatment


  • ​Please be aware of your treatment time, we operate a tight schedule to allow time to clean and prepare the rooms for the next float/sauna session. We request the rooms are vacated 10 mins after your treatment.


  • While we try to ensure the customer experience is flawless at Floating Point, should you have any complaints, please mention it at reception on the day or drop us an email

  • We will endeavour to respond to your email within 24 hours and work the issue through to a satisfactory conclusion


Age Restrictions

  • The minimum age to enjoy a floatation session at Floating Point is 16 years old, please contact us to discuss individual cases as we may be able to accomodate

Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are purchased via RoboVoucher

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year after the purchase date

  • Gift vouchers are sent by email following purchase online or in-store

  • Gift vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards and Gift Vouchers

Voucher Redemptions

  • Gift vouchers should be presented on arrival before your float

  • You can either present a paper copy or if this is not to hand, you can simply provide the individual voucher number at reception which will be in the email the purchaser was sent

  • Gift vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with special offers



  • The 3-float works in the same way as the voucher package. Should you wish to purchase this in-store, you will be emailed your unique 3-float voucher for redemption in-store

  • If, after your first float, you decide you would like to take advantage of the 3-float package, you can purchase at reception and the first float will be taken off your 3 float quota

  • 3-Float packages are not shareable as they are designed to allow the individual to truly experience what floatation has to offer


  • ​Membership floats cannot be shared unless it is the Platinum Membership

  • Minimum term of membership is 2 months

  • Unused floats can roll over for max 2 months. If the floats aren't used then the outstanding session will be cancelled and membership paused.

  • Unused floats roll over and can be used together for a maximum float time of 120mins

  • Guests of members will pay the same price as a member for single float sessions

  • Memberships start from when the first payment is taken from your nominated bank account

Prices and Special Offers

  • We aim to ensure all prices and website content are current at all times

  • Special offers may change without prior notice so if you want to be sure of securing the special offer price, ensure that it is live on the website when you make your booking​

  • We welcome all email enquiries and will endeavour to respond to all of them within 24 hours

  • While every effort has been taken to ensure the accuracy of all content on the website, some errors may occur and Floating Point is not liable for any perceived inaccuracies


How we will use the information about you:

  • Manage your booking

  • Medical information is taken to ensure that there are no contraindications with regards to you floating

  • Send you newsletters & offers if you have opted in on the waiver form

  • Your details will not be shared with any 3rd parties by Floating Point

  • Your details are stored on our database which is password protected and encrypted
